Islington, London, UK -  Dania Scandinavian School is pleased to announce its renaming to London Scandinavian School. This new name better reflects the vision of the school and the unique community it serves, which includes families that call Scandinavia and other countries home while living in London.

Inspired by its Danish founders, London Scandinavian School believes that education is about lighting a fire rather than filling a bucket. From the academic framework set in the British National Curriculum, the school blends both British and Scandinavian Values into a unique learning model that incorporates the 5 core pillars of presence, belonging, play, trust and responsibility. 

London Scandinavian School aims to create confident, considerate, collaborative thinkers and learners who are engaged in their learning journey.

The decision to rename the school to London Scandinavian School was made after careful consideration of the school's mission and vision. The new name better reflects the diverse community of families that call the school home and the school's commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.

We believe this change will help us to better serve our unique community of families living in London and we look forward to welcoming families from all backgrounds who share that same vision.” 

London Scandinavian School will continue to offer its innovative approach to education and remains committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds. The school is a registered charity.
